Mr. Jackson is still in ICU but he is doing better. At first the doctors were unsure of what was wrong but they have found that he has a major infection in both his lungs and plura cavity. they believe that he had a minor lung collapse which he does often but he got a small lung infection that he overlooked until it was quite bad. They are unsure how long he will need to be hospitalized but at the moment his life is out of the red zone.
Glad to hear things are looking up. I'm hopeful that they will continue to do so.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon. Excited for the next volume, but your health comes first.

ReplyDeleteget well soon
ReplyDeleteGet well soon, my brother in arms. We're all pulling for you :)
ReplyDeleteIt's been almost a week since the post and I figured now would be ok to ask, how are you doing? Are you getting better? If the book is delayed again that's fine. Take your time and get well so that you can continue the series. I hope you're at least getting better.
ReplyDeleteI was starting to wonder too. Would be nice to see an update.
DeleteI think releasing the book would help pay for some of the bills and decrease the stress allowing you to recover. I for one am ready to pay 3.99+ to read for an hour from this story..... YAY!
DeleteIt would be nice to get an update at least just to know how he is

ReplyDeleteGood grief. I've just caught up with this. Hoping you're on the mend mate.
ReplyDeleteAny News on how he's doing?
ReplyDeletePlease let us how you are. I've been checking the blog every week. Wish you well from Australia. If you need funds I think most of us will prepurchase. Get better.
ReplyDeleteI did my part by buying one of the other books while I wait for the next one in the new series. Please let us know if there's any word.
ReplyDeleteI've been checking weekly. Any word on how DW is doing?
ReplyDeleteWas curious when he next book is coming out I know he was sick but there has not been any word in 3 weeks.

ReplyDeleteEven a simple update like "out of the hospital and beginning to recover, work progressing slowly" would be nice.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear he is not doing well, and hope he makes a full recovery.
ReplyDeletewho else here is hoping for a double long, extra special, first of the month release???
ReplyDeleteI am!
(happy thoughts, Happy thoughts!)
{was that too over the top?}
Any news?
ReplyDeleteHey I'm in that my to.And when you're sick you can still do other stuff as well like write a book.Just saying. Suck it up and drive on.
ReplyDeleteWhen you are sick and in pain you really can't be creative. If he were to 'suck it up' and write I doubt it would be up to his usual standards.
ReplyDeleteHonestly I'm kind of wondering about the contest too. Hopefully it's not in poor taste to bring it up. Even if he's not feeling up to writing any friend or family member could pull a name out of a hat and make a blog post in a couple of minutes.
ReplyDeleteCome on UPDATE PLEASE!
ReplyDeletehate to say this but i guess he could be dead?
ReplyDeleteThe way he spells in his books more like deed
ReplyDeleteso, who knows the city he lives in? time to do an obit search, then a hospital call if nothing shows
ReplyDeleteOnline it says he was from McAlester Oklahoma? Don't know if he still lived there tho
ReplyDeleteGrim. I'm hoping the fella is lying low and recovering. Would imagine, as fun as they are, these novellas have to take a back seat for a while.

ReplyDeleteI think he is still recovering. Although I did look up the obituaries for Tahlequah and he wasn't in them.
ReplyDeleteD.K. Holberg The Dark Ability Series, here is a good story if looking for something to read it's not to bad!
ReplyDeleteI talked with his publisher earlier and was told he is still fighting the sickness. This in my opinion is good news. Hope you fight the good fight mate....

ReplyDeleteStill fighting is better than "not able to fight". Best wishes to Mr. Jackson.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes from me to look after yourself.

ReplyDeleteEnjoying the creativity you displayed in your books, and hope you have opportunity to write again in the future. Independent of that, good luck with your recovery mate!
ReplyDeleteAny news?
ReplyDeleteYou would think if this series's was important he would provide proper updates!
ReplyDeleteHe may have had a relapse. I am not giving up hope without an obituary though. I just re-read the reborn series and explore other authors while checking back weekly and keep him in my prayers.
