Master Mage

well everyone its that time. Stranded Mage will be out within the week and I have started on Master mage the last book in the first arc of the Reawakening saga. There is plenty left to the story but I thought it was time to start a new arc. Thad will still be around as he is a major player in the final arc but the amount of magic will increase a lot in the following arcs and we will get to see a lot more as the epic battle fully builds to its finale. Even after that is complete  the world of the reawakening saga has much more to tell. when I envisioned the world I see it much like our own filled with many different lands and people who each have their own way to contribute to the whole. Also starting with Master Mage and onward the books will be edited by a professional and well known editing company, I see it as a good investment even though the price makes me cringe. I will have the other books done as well when time and funds allow.

I am also working on other series but they are only for my off time so maybe in the future you may want to look out for these.

Silver scroll saga: a land ruled by a pantheon of gods who each balance the scale to keep the world on balance. the keeper of the balance is the god of the silver scrolls who keeps the history of those people evil or good who are worthy of note.

Demon's rise: The world is a continually cycle where small portions of the worlds ether is given out to produce souls. when the souls have matured and are ready to return to the ether they must be purged of all impurities. These impurities have collected in the abyss creating demons who are the embodiment of sins. Longing to walk the mortal realm and languish n their own desires they wait to be summoned.

Basic temptations:  (first off please don't judge me too harshly. I started this book because the idea hit me.) its a simple story of going through basic training with a bit of romance added in. anyone who has been to basic knows that emotions can get a bit hot and heavy when you think you have a spare moment of privacy. this book while basically a love story also focuses on the camaraderie and bonds between servicemen.

I am also working on other books in the Reawakening Saga realm.

Fae War: tells of the Fae War and the start to the fall of the Empire.

Magic Merchant: tells of how Monique escaped certain death while being hunted by the Brotherhood of the fox.

Royal rebel: a trilogy about Maria and her fight to keep her homeland secure from outside and inside threats.

errant soldier trilogy: Eloen and her escapades as she tried to wrest control of Abla from the hands of a power hungry self proclaimed king.

Varthari Wars: right now its a single book that tells of the time the Varthari came to the surface and subjugate the human race only to fall to their own hubris.

whats the big deal over the controversy over duck dynasty

First off this isn't book related its just something that hit my nerve.

I cant say I am a huge fan of the show but thanks to my kids I have watched every episode they have. and Phil was one of my fav people on the show. now everyone's throwing a big hoopla over a few comments he made in a magazine about homosexuals. I can understand why some people might be offended but why make a big deal out of his views.  I have heard it called hate speech, bigotry, and many other things but I don't see it. Phil is a down home Christian, with traditional Christian values and while its obvious he doesn't agree with the homosexual lifestyle it doesn't mean he is a bigot. If the man was asked if he thought sleeping before marriage was a sin I am sure he would say it was. does that mean he should be put under such strain for the comment. its his religious views and as a soldier wither I agree with him or not I support his right to believe that way.

I just don't get all the political correctness these days. you have to tiptoe around your own beliefs so not to offend others.  its impossible to have a group of more than five people and for them not to agree on something so why make a big deal out of it. Everyone is entitled to their own lives and to however they want to lead them, but they are also entitled to their own opinions and beliefs. I am a firm believer in god myself but I have never pushed those views on others but if I was asked a direct question along those lines I would answer honestly just as Phil Robertson did. If you really need someone to blame, then go after the interviewer who asked such a touchy question in the first place. Honestly if you watched the show you could almost guess what his views on the subject would have been.

I would just like to ask one more question before I end my rant. "What is the point of having free speech and freedom of religion if we as a people oppose it so fervently denounce it when someone says something we don't agree with?"
