book delay
I know it is evil of me but the truth is as many of you know my health has not been great as of late but that is not the main reason for the delay. It is the holidays...they are so busy with kids. In truth I was working hard to finish the book and it is almost done but right now it is impossible to finish it by the 15th so I will have to release it on the 1st. on a side not after the 15th book in the series I am thinking of changing up the release time to once a month though at the same time making the books 50% larger for the same cost. This will do two things. One it will make it easier to keep up the pace second it will reduce some of the complaining about the size of the books.

ReplyDeletelove the books, they have been a little short the last few releases, but the content is excellent, so keep up the good work! and once a month is great, something to offset paying first of the month bills lol.

(also, at the end, is there a way you can set up a complete edition for those of us who have bought each and every issue? but at no cost to us {since we already bough em all}? a reward for buying em all? lol)

Do whatever you think you have to. You are a Legend. We all appreciate it, but there are haters everywhere. But you have a dedicated reader base that'll stick with you to the end. Stay sharp, dude.
ReplyDeleteAll good things come to those who wait... we appreciate all that you do to produce books so quickly i think the longer wait time could be a good thing. build the suspense. i do have a quick question for you though. how many books are you looking to make this series or have you even considered a number for it yet?

ReplyDeleteOn a different note Ash needs more passive abilities. Although I am enjoying the current storyline with the war I miss him going into the labyrinth. I think the passive ability from the vine monsters in book one would pair well with the ability from book nine. So please get Ash more passive abilities it would make him stronger, increase his regens, or just generally make him better since he wouldn't have to worry about activating them.
P.S. His ability really should have already leveled up. It's a great ability and with the way he uses it every night it should be stronger than level 1 78%.

ReplyDeleteI think you lost this in book 6 [Iron Strike: Cost 15SP- triples the weight of a single blow.] Which is a shame because it wood be amassing combined with just a bout all of his sword abilities
