  4. Well People I'm going to criticize for a bit since i do not find a way to send the criticism in private to the author I find myself on the bad position of sending this criticism by a public method, I really think this book was not worth the wait nor the money, why, because this book damage our main character and the book is useless, we have had a character with some very strong convictions that has been making his new life in this new world, with a cheat ability and doing his best, this 9th book sended all that to the garbage, first the characters does nothing the entire book but see what is happening around him, he does nothing but look at how the guards kill stuff and he gains abilitties for free, second he had strong convictions on multiple subjects one of them about having his wife, to the point that he felt bad about cheating on her with lilliana a couple of books back and now this book he is ok with multiple marriage and in he came to the decision with just 2 days of thinking and without a single moral compuction? in other words lets destroy the moral fiber of the character, third this was pretty much a book where yes went here got A with full description of A, now go here and get B with full description of B, and each description pages long, in other words a book that was filler, that didn't advance the story at all, that destroyed the moral fiber of the main character that ended up making the main character look like a moron who does nothing by himself.

Thank you mr jackson for ruining the main character of the series, We will see how you end up destroying the main plot too right? thats the next one where our hero does nothing and the king impale himself at the feet of the hero in abject terror.

The book just pissed me off, a very strong character with very strong moral fiber a character that I did like a lot because he was still keeping his convictions in spite of living on a world where he could relax those, and you go and in 1 book you make him a puppet. My goodness, how i hate this book.

See ya later, I will buy the next book to see how th story continue but I don't think i will follow the series for too long, this last book just killed my enthusiasm for the series.

To those of you that still like the series don't let me discourage you, enjoy the books and have fun, for me he just damage a character that I liked and that killed any enthusiasm i had for the series.

  5. I thought it was a pretty good book! He actually spent the last 4 books noting changes in his thoughts towards multiple partners. Moral fiber? He's thinking of the entire demon country falling into chaos.

Mr. Jackson, thank you for a great book and and for keeping it highly entertaining. I'd comment more if I had more time.

  9. The main point of this book is to train the main character in skills which will help in a large scale battle, we know that a single duchy would never grow large enough to fight the whole rest of the empire and still sustain itself, and yet we can clearly see the author intends for there to be a war for the equality of subhumans. The main character bein the figure head needs to be the rallying point, furthermore the main character is growing you can see that he is thinking more about those hes commanding then himself hence the willingness to pass the blood ability to a demon hence the wives. On a side note the wives will also make up the high powered party hes been trying to make. And ofc just like the books there are lots of grammatical errors in my comment, AND I DONT CARE!

    1. Point thomas, first I do not care about the grammatical errors, jackson put books out fast so him having errors is the least of my concerns, my point with this books is that the previous 8 books had a better training and method of gaining skill than book 9, he was thinking and looking how to become stronger, he was thinking and actually doing some training on the labyrinth, on this book he is being told what skills he will get, he does not fight for them because its onlt the guards fighting, we barely see him testing those skills, I could continue pointing every single point where the main character just stands there and do as he is told, instead of actually doing stuff, you know first 8 books ash was the one doing and moving and training, book 9 nothing.

Really go back read all 9 books one after the other, and you will see what i mean, Ash went from being a guy that did stuff that tried to think what is best, sometimes he made a leap of faith or trusted his instincts (like when he joined the gambler guild) but he was always the one moving, and in the last book is go here absorb this, go there absorb that, marry here, go to the bathroom here, use your sword here, now eat, etc etc, the character just did nothing this last book.

If you say he is training, eh you know the previous 8 books were a lot better written as a training model for ash.

  10. I only started the series about a week and a half ago so rereading would be pointless. And yes it os somewhat borin, however, that was already set in motion the second that it came out Ash was subhuman. The rate of growth required by ash was such that he didnt have time to go through the same sort of training as he did for his physical combat. Not to mention while it is fun to read about him killing monsters its a whole lot more fun to read about him adapting to fighting intelligent opponents, the book was a necessary evil.

  11. Hi Mr Jackson. I have brought everyone of you reborn books from the beginning. I have loved reading him change and evolve as a person.
Saying that however, the last two books are really passing me off!! Bits missing when I turn a page on my kindle, bits redone on the next page which I have look down to find where I started. Now I don't mind this, I can live with it. Bit each time this happens I loose emersion.

  12. shouldn't the ability diamond soul be atleast level 2? if he gained 6% xp for making 13 SMP and he has 260 that makes 120%. It only shows lvl 1 with 15%.

    1300 mana = 13 Soul MP
    13*20=260
    6% per 1300 mana/13 SMP
There for to have 260 SMP he had to use Diamond Soul 20 times at 6% apiece equals level 2 with some left over for maybe 10%.

It definately should have been level 2 by the 10th book but it just shows 76%. although its harder to calculate since we don't know how many times and for how much he uses Dark Soul.

  14. It would be better organized if you made a skills and level sheet that you could update on this website so we don't have chapters of them in each eBook. No offense meant I love the books but if he doesn't stop accessing powers that's all were going to get is a skills book.
